The newly revised and proposed BY-LAWS will be presented to the membership at the July Member’s Meeting and voted on at the August Member’s meeting.  Be sure to obtain a copy for your review and in consideration of your vote in August.

A Thought on the Fourth of July

 

 

 

Fourth of July, how sweet it sounds,
As every year it rolls around.
It brings active joy to boy and man,
This glorious day throughout our land.

We hail this day with joy and pride,
And speak of our forefathers who have died;
Who fought for liberty in days of yore,
And drove the British from our shore.

We, as descendants of that race,
Should not now our land disgrace.
Arise, freeman, arise once more,
Protect your rights as done before.

·        It’s time to begin replenishing the “wood” pile, so any help would be greatly appreciated.  Remember, the more wood we have, the lower our heating bills.

·        The range is ready for use but REMEMBER, you MUST sign in at the bar before you use the range.  If your name is not on the signup log you will be asked to leave immediately.  Keep the range clean, trash barrels are there for a reason.

• Remember, if you have an e-mail address you will receive the expanded Newsletter electronically, as well as the shortened version each month in the Worcester County News.
• If you need to reach me about any upcoming events, newsworthy happenings, or just have some photos or comments, feel free to e-mail them to me.  After I have reviewed the content (it must pass muster), I’ll put it in the paper.
• If the hall is rented, please use the Member’s Room entrance.  We do not want to interfere with those renting the upstairs hall.

·        Remember the deadline for the Newsletter is the 20^th of the month and most members receive their copy by the 7th of the next month, so keep this in mind when you want something to appear in the Newsletter.

·        If you use the club facilities – CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF – your Mother is not here to pick up after you!

·        Remember the Clubhouse is available for rental for all your social needs.
